Winter in Chicago can be pretty unbearable.  Between the ridiculously cold temps and the dreary sunless skies, the months between December and April feel like they last forever.  I like to add excitement to this incredibly gray season by adding a fun pop of color to my outerwear.  Red is one of my favorite ways to achieve this because I like doing a coordinating bright lip along with it!  I love the combination of cherry red with heathered gray shown here, but I think this red would also look amazing with a camel coat and top.

Also, can we talk about the proper spelling for the word 'gray'??  Grammatical enforcer here!  I personally have always spelled it with an 'a' because that's how the word sounds.  While both are correct, spelling it with an 'a' is more common in the US while spelling it with an 'e' is the norm in the UK.  How do you spell it?
