Ever wonder where people in the city shop for Christmas trees? Well in River North, there's now a cute little lot at the corner of Clark & Ontario (the Hardrock Cafe parking lot) with an abundance of trees! Before that, the lot was setup with fall festivities - a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and the like. It's nice having a little taste of these suburban commonalities in the city! Patrick and I took a festive stroll through the lot while out running errands on Sunday. We were solely browsing though; I'm allergic to pine and have never had a real tree haha.
While I'm certainly not a fan of these frigid temps we've been having, it's been a nice excuse to break out my birthday present from Patrick. One thing to note about this coat is it's a little tight across the chest. Believe it or not, I'm a 32DD, so that might be part of it, but my usual size (size 4) was so tight across the chest the coat would pop open if I moved my arms too quickly. I went up one size and it's much roomier!
