If you follow my Instagram stories, you may have seen that I was very sick last week.  I got some awful virus over Memorial Day Weekend that kept me home from work for two days although I honestly didn't feel 100% better until about Sunday.  I was nauseous, feverish, and all the other fun stuff that comes with a stomach bug.  When you're sick like that, you can't eat the key nutrients your body needs which was majorly effecting my brain, energy, skin...everything.  I felt like a zombie and just wanted to lay in bed all day.  It's a very busy time at work so it was all awful timing.  Needless to say, I am SO grateful to finally be feeling better.  Don't take your health for granted!

Since I was feeling better Sunday, we decided to do some of our normal weekend activities.  We went to church, to brunch, and tried to walk around the city as much as possible.  I wore this new eyelet dress (a gift from my MIL!) and these Soludos again and they were perfectly comfortable.  Takashi Murakami has a new exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art and they put his iconic smiling flowers on one of the loading docks. We can't wait to see the exhibit soon!

Hope everyone is having a good week!

xo, Annelise
