If you follow me on Instagram, you are probably aware that I've been taking pictures of every blooming tree and flower I can find in Chicago. I'm not sure what it is about this spring but I am just so excited for it and am finding beauty in everything I see! This time of year, bloggers and tourists alike are descending upon D.C. and/or Japan to witness the budding cherry blossom trees. It's something I've always wanted to do and am in awe of how beautiful and dream-like they are. You can imagine my excitement when I stumbled upon a sweet pair of blooming cherry blossom trees in my own little neighborhood!
I wore this outfit for a family birthday party the other weekend. This top (last seen here) is one of my favorites. While it has proven itself to be suitable for any season, I am especially loving it for spring with the pretty lace and flower detailing and the bright white color.
