I was not expecting the snowstorm we got in Chicago yesterday! Although it didn't accumulate (it never seems to in the city), it turned the city into a beautiful snow globe for a day. We've been craving Greek food so we ventured out into the snow and over to Greektown for lunch, then ran some errands in the West Loop area.
I treated myself to this new pair of sneakers for my birthday. My birthday is in October but they were back-ordered so they just arrived. Unfortunately they arrived right when I threw my back out, so I haven't been able to wear them to the gym, but they've been great for my walks to and from work. It's my only form of exercise right now, so I've been pushing myself to walk as much as possible. You can see my last pair of sneakers in this post.
