I've wanted short rain boots for quite a while now. They're more practical for getting to and from work and for rainy days in the summer. I saw these rubber moto boots on a girl at Kinkos on a wet day a year or so ago and fell in love with them. I loved that they didn't look like rain boots with all the little details on them, and that they're cherry red on the inside! There were so many times I had them in my cart ready to purchase, but I just couldn't pull the trigger on the price for myself. So you can imagine how happy I was when my husband surprised me with them for my birthday on Monday! I couldn't wait for a rainy day to wear them, and honestly it didn't matter since they don't scream "rain boots". They're very comfortable for walking and pretty lightweight. Please note they do run big - I'm typically a size 8.5 or 9 and these are a size 8.
