Photos taken in St. Lucia

My cousin and her husband gifted us a sunset sailboat ride for our wedding and it was so amazing!  Earlier in the day I wore this outfit to the beach and then decided it would be perfect for the boat ride.  The excursion was with a group of couples from the resort and we were fed appetizers and drinks while we cruised around parts of the island at dusk.

Sandals sent a photographer on the boat ride so everyone could have nice photos of the evening.  We ended up chatting a lot with him (his name is Omar) and got to learn so much about St. Lucian culture!  He's really talented (check out his instagram) and we've been following his work since. We even coaxed him into bringing us fresh mangoes from his mango tree.  Mango trees are everywhere in St. Lucia and are one of the most abundant resources on the island, however our resort didn't serve ANY mangoes!  The fresh mangoes were heavenly, as you can imagine.

PS it was so hot and humid in St. Lucia (hello frizzy hair and abundant top knots!) that my camera would get steamed up as soon as we took it out of our air conditioned room!  That's why the first few photos are kinda hazy.

xo, Annelise
