My friend and co-worker got married this past weekend and here's what I wore to her wedding. The event was held at Ignite Glass Studios and it was so cool! Not only do they have a great indoor reception area and spacious rooftop (with views of the Chicago skyline), they host a glass blowing demonstration during the cocktail hour.
For my dress, I wanted to wear something with more pattern and color than I usually gravitate towards, especially since the venue had a more eclectic vibe. I found this gorgeous Erin Fetherston dress on Rent the Runway and couldn't resist. It was even more fun in person thanks to the pleated skirt which fans out when twirling. I've sang my praises of Rent the Runway before in this and this post. Their dresses are so great for weddings, particularly when you have eight in one year ;)
