The weather was so gorgeous on Sunday, we felt it was an opportune time to finally check out the new Bloomingdale Trail. If you're familiar with the Highline in NYC, the Bloomingdale Trail is the same concept - they repurposed some old elevated train tracks into a walking, biking and running friendly trail. While we absolutely love living close to the lake front, it was nice to turn inland for a change and take in the sights of a new neighborhood. The trail is wonderful and we cannot wait to go back in the coming months as the greenery comes back to life!
