Typically my inspiration for outfits comes from other fashion bloggers, magazines, people on the street, or just trial and error in front of the mirror. But every so often, I'm inspired by something that has nothing to do with fashion. In the case of this outfit, I was inspired by this photo that I pinned on Pinterest. I was drawn in by the color combination - the bold emerald green against the soft pinkish lilac - then shortly after I realized I have those exact colors in my closet! This blouse, last seen here, is one of my favorites. The color is unparalleled with anything else I own.
